Associate Brand Manager
Summary:
Basic Purpose
Works closely with Senior Brand Manager of Marketing for project coordination, development and implementation of the overall vision and strategy of various food brands in consumer packaged foods which are sold in the Natural Food Channel, as well as Grocery.
Location: New York (Melville, Long Island)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Forms, schedules, chairs and leads project teams, focusing on product development.
•Monitors competitors and market for industry trends and new introductions.
•Initiates, monitors, releases, and enforces schedules and costs.
•Works with production, purchasing and project coordinators to confirm vendors, specifications and deadlines.
•Develops Presentations and Sales materials for sales teams, Sr. Management and Analysts.
•Monitors market performance and customer feedback in cooperation with Customer Service.
•Identifies areas of improvement and puts process improvements into place.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, MBA a plus.
•Two to four year’s minimum product development and/or brand/project management experience.
•Ability to successfully manage and execute results for multiple projects in a fast pace, changing environment.
•Proficient knowledge of computers, spreadsheet, word processing and project management software programs.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong Analytical Skills, ability to understand P&L statements.
•Strong problem solving and creative concept skills.
