Customer Satisfaction Representative
Summary:
Providing Customer Satisfaction to all of our; Distributors, Brokers, and Regional Sales Managers.
This position will be from Temp-to-Perm.
Relocation is not available for this position.
Location: New York (Melville, Long Island)
Responsibilities
1.Expeditiously process customer orders reviewing prices, promotions, discounts and product availability on orders for given territory.
2.Sending Purchase Order Confirmations to Customers and/or Brokers. This includes date order received, case count, item numbers, product descriptions, ship/pickup date, terms of sale and estimated time of arrivals.
3.Communicating order discrepancies to customers in a timely manner.
4.Process revisions as necessary.
5.Ensure orders are shipped on time to meet the customer’s requested delivery date.
6.Order Entry required.
7.Allocate orders when necessary.
8.Must be able to follow Hain policy while acting as the champion for the Customer.
9.Work with Regional Sales Managers, Expeditor and Manager to expedite orders at month and quarter end.
10.Processing claims and assisting with follow-up on damages, donations and returns.
11.Maintaining a database of Customers and Brokers in their region or channel of distribution.
12.Inform Customers, Regional Sales Managers and Brokers of company changes in advance.
13.Must be able to multi-task.
14.Work with Deductions staff to quantify purchase order discrepancies.
15.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience in a distribution environment.
•2 to 4 year College Degree Preferred.
•Strong Customer Service experience, written and verbal communications.
•PC experience including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. AS400 skills a plus.
•Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
