Intern- Marketing/Communication Services
Summary:
Paid Internship. Ideal for a creative and energetic marketing candidate who has a passion for creative processes that support marketing objectives.
Relocation is not available for this position.
Location: New York (Melville, Long Island)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Overall support to Communications Services team for Grocery, Snacks and Frozen Divisions including: proofreading, traffic packaging projects amongst brand groups, technical services and manufacturing facilities utilizing internal routing system, communicate design changes to packaging design firms, coordinate photo shoots, and liaison with vendors and agencies.
•Maintain project timelines to insure adherence by internal and external groups
•Assist Senior Director Communication Services with budget responsibilities including processing and logging invoices
•Assist in the development of ads and point of sale materials for group promotions
•Asset with administrative duties: copying, filing etc.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
•Candidate must have strong interest in marketing communications especially in packaging, but also including advertising and sales promotions
•Creative finesse
•Strong computer application skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
•Able to multi-task and prioritize work
