Data Warehouse Developer
Summary:
Responsible for needs analysis, design, and implementation of IT services that provide Data Integration, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. Additional responsibilities include DBA duties and general multiple database middleware installation and maintenance, ETL and BI Tool installation and maintenance and trouble shooting as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for management and implementation of a variety of IT projects that encompass the integration of Hain Celestial’s disparate corporate divisions, manufacturing facilities and business units
• Responsible for Integration of disparate data sources into a cohesive Business Intelligence platform.
• Aligns data warehousing projects with business strategy.
• Database Administration and tuning
• Responsible for Informatica Server operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for Business Objects Server Operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for DB/2 Connect and Microsoft SQL ODBC middle ware operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for InfoBurst Server operation and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS Computer Science
• 3 to 5 years experience needed. Requires both breadth and depth of skills and knowledge in many Information Technology disciplines including Data Warehousing, ETL, SQL, Data Management, and Business Intelligence systems.
• Proficiency and experience in the following areas: project management, technical leadership, written and oral communication, negotiation skills, and contingency planning.
• Proactive approach.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including occasional lifting up to 40-60 lbs., carrying 20-40 lbs., and pushing/pulling 60+ lbs.
Competency (in many cases, expert-level) is required in the following technical categories:
• Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Data Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools and techniques, including Informatica.
• Business Intelligence Application design, implementation, administration (currently Business Objects).
• RDBMS implementation and administration (Oracle 10g, Microsoft SQL server, IBM DB2, MySQL, Oracle)
• RDBMS Middle ware implementation and administration (DB/2 Connect, ODBC, Oracle)
• Project Management
